I've been thinking about it this week, and I've decided to feature some wonderful artists I've seen around these parts. Unfortunately, since I do not have a premium membership, I don't think I can insert thumbnails of their work into my journal, so you might just have to visit their galleries.

With all that said, here's the artists I'm featuring in my journal.
1.

~
Elixirmy - I originally came across this artist under her former account name, ~
elixirXsczjX13, but she's moved to this account (if anyone formerly watched her there, you can re-watch her at her new name). This artist has a unique style to her works, and I greatly admire her skill in giving fluidity and motion to all her characters, and this strength is especially seen in her fanart of
Regular Show,
The Amazing World of Gumball, and
Fish Hooks, which are cartoons that have a "flat" look to them, but are given more dimension when drawn in her style. Also, her OCs don't go without mention. Her cast of Samy, Elixir, Perkins, Luke, Vela, Rita, and Oliver are one of the best OC collections around dA, and and honorable mention also goes to a little series revolving around a humanized Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop. Again, you've got to check her out. Some of you may already be familiar with her work.

Hanami-Mai - This artist is a definite must-watch. She's got quite a love for historical fashion, and is also pretty big on the history of kimonos. She's got this series of artworks she's working on that features kimonos from different periods of Japan's history, spanning the Heian, Sengoku, Edo, and Meiji eras. Her chibi style is one to die for (not literally

). If there's any historical fashion lovers and kimono fanatics out there, this is one artist you've definitely got to watch.

Neko-Vi - This guy's got quite a thing for designing Lolita collections and ballgowns. All of his ensembles are so well done, you wish you could buy them at a boutique or something. I've been lurking around his gallery, and there some pretty awesome designs in there (such as a trio of Wa Lolita dresses and a British Punk outfit). I suggest you go look at some of his collections, and his designs are free to use for dressing up your characters.

And that's it for my artists feature!

Have a nice day!
