And now, a return to the regular stuff I do here in my gallery.
So... here's another Directive piece (how predictable), after a long time of doing fanart for some anime and MU, and an AirHeads! comic. This one has a bit of a backstory.
A while ago, when I had to do a cause poster for Graphic Design 2 (should put that up soon too!), I was browsing pictures of school uniforms, because I wanted to have kids with uniforms in my project. After viewing images I liked and narrowing down visually similar or topic-related images, I eventually stumbled upon a picture of what looked to be people running in front of the MetLife building in New York City (actually, a promo for Gossip Girl; seriously, terrible show, AMAZING promo images). It seemed so random to me, yet I liked it very much, and eventually, this ended up happening, mainly because the Directive cast lives in the Manhattan's Upper East Side, and they tend to look expensive and glamorous.

Funny thing is, in the picture, there are four girls and three guys, which is also how Reject Force 7 is composed. And one guy in the back looks like he's about to sneeze...

Though of course, I exaggerated the picture a bit, with Vince getting all excited as he embraces Partlet, and Dee and Leticia jumping for joy. See if you can compare the pictures and find any other differences.
Finally, I experimented with trying to fade backgrounds together (with the eraser brush having a reduced opacity), and also fade the characters slightly into the background. And yes, the MetLife building is now a ShoppyMart building according to this artwork.
And... that's pretty much all I have to say.
